Maybe this recipe is so sexy because the video is in slo-mo, but this recipe is the perfect salad to feature a favorite flavor of fall: Creamy burrata, salty prosciutto, and vine ripe tomatoes complement the bitter arugula, and creates a enticing contrast of textures and flavors. To incorporate a bit of tartness to the salad, we toss it with a honey and chili basaltic dressing. This salad is easy to make and can be served as a light lunch or a stunning appetizer. Rustic Fig, Burrata, and Prosciutto Salad with Honey and Chili Balsamic Dressing

Enjoy fresh figs, burrata, prosciutto, tomato and arugula in this easy and elegant salad. The chili balsamic dressing adds a spicy and tangy kick, while the walnuts add some texture. Serve this salad as a light lunch or a stunning appetizer.
Servings 4

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups arugula (about 1 bag)
  • 1/2 large Heirloom tomato thinly sliced
  • 3 to 4 ripe, yet still firm, figs thinly sliced
  • 1 large burrata ball, or 4 small burrata balls
  • 2 to 3 slices prosciutto pulled apart
  • 1/4 cup walnut chopped
  • Freshly grounded black pepper to taste

Dressing

  • 2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar of Modena
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions
 

For the dressing:

  • Add all the ingredients to a small bowl or mason jar with a lid, and whisk or shake until combined. Put to the side, and shake again before using.

For the salad:

  • Toss the bag of arugula into a large bowl. Add the tomato and fig slices.
  • Add the burrata. If you're using one large burrata ball, divide the ball into smaller pieces and scatter them over the salad. If you're using 4 burrata balls, divide each burrata ball in half and spread the halves over the salad.
  • Add the prosciutto slices and walnuts to the salad. Top with cracked pepper.
  • Add the salad dressing before serving.
