Loaded Garlic and Onion Bread Recipe

Ingredients

loaf of crusty bread

unsalted butter
1/2
tsp
butter
1
tbsp
minced garlic
1
whole onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
Cut your loaf into several thick slices, taking care not to cut through the bottom of the loaf.
Melt butter and garlic and salt together.
Evenly spoon the butter mixture into each slice of bread.
Evenly stuff each slice with onion.
Bake for 45 minutes at 375 degrees.
Remove and let cool about 5 minutes before removing tin foil.
Notes
These measurements are approximations, since this recipe is largely based on preference. It's also pretty fool-proof and can be adjusted as you go.
